HAV-IT Industries
Support services in this program focus on employment activities. Trained staff provide supports to people in this program that assist them to find, train and keep jobs in the Harvey area. Some of the employment activities offered in the HAV-IT Industries building built in October 1986 and located at 409 West Brewster Street include assembly sewing.
Other employment activities are offered in the community and surrounding area of Harvey and include lawn and yard work  janitorial contracts recycling.
People receiving services in this program are paid for the work they complete. This program is certified by the Department of Labor authorizing HAV-IT to pay sub-minimum wages according to the work abilities of each individual in the work training program.
