Our mission is to deliver quality services to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and others to empower them to lead the lives they choose. We foster community integration of children and adults who have disabilities in jobs, education, housing, and society. Making a difference through inclusion. HAV-IT Services makes a difference through you! The Accreditation Council on Services to People with Disabilities accredited HAV-IT in 1987 and has awarded HAV-IT an “Accreditation with Distinction” continuously since 1993.
Our Employees
Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) employees are certified in Developmental Disabilities training. We seek employees who have relationship building skills, patience and compassion. With these characteristics present, our employees have the foundation to deliver quality support services to the people we support.

The North Street and Jackson Avenue residences are projects of the United States Department of Agriculture-Rural Development (USDA-RD). People who have handicaps or disabilities are eligible regardless of age.
- licensed by the North Dakota Department of Human Services to provide support services to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) an organization dedicated to the definition, measurement and improvement of personal quality of life for people receiving human services and supports.
- a 501(c)(3) federal tax exempt agency eligible for charitable donations.
